Support Student Athletes on the Field and in the Classroom

"I'm excited to announce an initiative to help propel us to the next step in Bearcats Athletics history. During the university's Day of Green Giving Day on April 2nd and 3rd, we are asking all of our athletic alumni, supporters, fans, and friends to participate in our '$25 for '25' campaign. We're only asking for $25 because the money isn't the most important part of this campaign, it's YOUR participation.

Yes, every dollar counts in the current climate of college athletics, and we are thankful for everyone's contributions no matter the level. However, our main goal with this initiative is not to raise a certain amount of money; our main target is to create and cultivate an updated list of all of our alumni, specifically, but also our loyal supporters and fans everywhere who have bled green with us throughout our storied history. I hope this reaches many who haven't been as connected to their alma mater as they want to be. I hope you all see this as an opportunity to re-engage with the Bearcat program you held closest in your heart, and then let us prove that we are on a mission to create a new model of connectedness and engagement with YOU.

We've had a lot of change over the last few years, and we are purposeful and focused to build a framework that gives you better access to our athletes, our coaches, and our staff to keep you systematically informed on everything going on in Bearcat Athletics throughout the year in a more meaningful way. So, we are asking for a gift of $25 in honor of this year - 2025 - as we prepare to take the next big step in our department's story. My hope is you are willing to share your most up-to-date contact information and let us prove to you this is going to be different, this is going to be better, this is going to be more impactful to your relationship as an alumni, a fan, a donor, a friend, and as a part of the Bearcat family.

Thank you so much for your engagement with Bearcat Athletics! And as always: ONCE a Bearcat, ALWAYS a Bearcat!

God Bless, and Go Cats!"

- Dr. Andy Peterson, Director of Athletics
