Bearcat Fans,
KXCV-KRNW, a 100,000 watt public radio station on the Northwest campus, has been the flagship station for the Bearcat Radio Network since 1999. The award-winning Bearcat Radio Network broadcasts every Northwest football, men’s basketball and women’s basketball game throughout the year. The KXCV-KRNW and the network are led by the long-time voice of the Bearcats, John Coffey. Coffey was inducted into the Missouri Broadcasters Association Hall of Fame in June, and will be enshrined in the M-Club Hall of Fame later this month. In addition to five full-time staff members, KXCV-KRNW employees up-and-coming student broadcasters, including engineers that produce every Bearcat Radio broadcast and a football sideline reporter.
