Our tennis program is excited to share the continued progress we are making both on and off the court.
During the 2025–26 season, Bearcat Tennis continued its tradition of success, with strong seasons from both the men’s and women’s teams. Both teams qualified for the NCAA Regional Tournament, increasing the program’s all-time NCAA Regional Tournament appearances to 24 for the men and 23 for the women.
The women’s team recorded an impressive 11-match dual-match winning streak during the Spring 2026 season. The team finished 7–2 in conference play, placing third in the MIAA, and advanced to the semifinals of the MIAA Conference Tournament.
The men’s team tied for second place in the MIAA and also advanced to the semifinals of the MIAA Conference Tournament.
Head coach Mark Rosewell also reached an important career milestone, earning his 1,300th career match victory on March 13, 2026, when the Bearcats defeated Southwest Baptist, 5–2.
As we look ahead to the 2026–27 season, Bearcat Tennis is excited to welcome new players to the program. The men’s team has welcomed three newcomers for the fall, with additional standout players joining the Bearcats in the spring. The women’s team has also welcomed a new fall addition and will add more talented players in the spring.
With new players joining our program, we are looking forward to building on the success of Bearcat Tennis and continuing to move forward together.
