What is the Bearcat Day of Green and why does Northwest do it?
Bearcat Day of Green is an annual giving challenge lasting 1905 minutes. The purpose is for the Bearcat community – alumni, employees, students, parents, and friends – to come together and assist in the various initiatives and programs at Northwest Missouri State University. You have the ability to directly help many areas on campus of your choice.
When is the Bearcat Day of Green?
The 2024 Bearcat Day of Green begins at 9:00 a.m. CST on April 2 and ends at 4:45 p.m. CST on April 3, lasting a total of 1905 minutes.

Can I give through the mail?
If you’d prefer to give through mail instead of online, you can send cash or a check to:

Checks can be made payable to the Northwest Foundation. On the memo line, please write “Day of Green” and the area you choose to support.

Under Designation, select Department-Specific Scholarships and under Fund Designation, select Other. Write the name of the specific scholarship you'd like to support.

Are my gifts tax-deductible?
Gifts made to benefit Northwest Missouri State University during the Bearcat Day of Green are tax deductible. You will receive a receipt for your gift in the mail.
