Martindale Hall Renovations
Martindale Hall and the School of Health Science & Wellness are undergoing large renovations!

Healthy living and quality healthcare are important to the welfare of everyone. Addressing mental and physical health needs are critical factors for our communities to flourish. Northwest's School of Health Science and Wellness is committed to addressing the region's needs through high-quality, state-of-the-art educational programs, delivered in the reimagining of Martindale Hall.

Purposeful adjustments to the School of Health Science and Wellness's offerings during the past decade have led to significant enrollment growth in critical areas of need spanning labs and offices in four buildings across the Northwest campus.

The university is pursuing capital improvements to significantly enhance program offerings and remedy associated staffing and space needs. Renovations to improve the quality, efficiency and relevance of Martindale Hall are long overdue, and the remodel will allow all of the School's units to finally reside under one roof where collaboration can flourish.

The reimagined space will be home to a diverse portfolio of bachelor degree programs such as nutrition, RN to BSN, recreation, applied health sciences, physical education, psychology and human services.

As well as master's degree programs in nutrition, school counseling, nursing, recreation, physical education, and applied health science and sport sciences.

Pre-professional tracks are available for athletic training, occupational therapy, physical therapy, social work and a variety of other medical and mental health fields.

Targeted future programs include public health, healthcare management, sociology and mental health graduate programs.
