KXCV-KRNW - Northwest Missouri Public Radio

This radio station brings round-the-clock news, sports and entertainment to Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska, and Iowa. In addition to the public services provided, KXCV-KRNW also provides industry experience for students interested in a career in broadcasting.

"Gifts to KXCV aid students in a number of ways.

We employ and train students for on-air shifts, work in our newsroom and as board operators for Bearcat Radio Network broadcasts of Northwest football and basketball games.

Gifts are used to cover costs associated with maintaining and purchasing equipment students use in their daily work responsibilities on KXCV/KRNW and also toward programming expenses the station incurs on a daily basis. By working on KXCV/KRNW our students receive hands on training that puts them a step above graduates from competing colleges and universities."

-John Coffey, Station Manager of KXCV-KRNW
