School of Health Science and Wellness

The School of Health Science and Wellness is one of the fastest growing departments at Northwest. Martindale Hall is home to this school and is currently undergoing major renovations to better prepare students for their future careers. Below is a description from Dr. Terry Long, Director of the School of Health Science and Wellness, on how students benefit from donations to Health Science and Wellness.

"Thank you for considering a donation to the School of Health Science and Wellness (or the Martindale Project). Please know that we are fully committed to ensuring the future success of our students. Your contribution is a critical part of this effort and will help provide academic opportunities that are both cost effective and life changing, classroom and lab environments that unlock full learning potential, and profession-based experiences and mentorship that ushers students into the world of a successful health and wellness professional.

Donations will support the development of our well-being laboratory, which helps ensure that future healthcare professionals are well trained and ready to use the most modern tools and methods for assessment and provision of care. A donation to the School of Health Science and Wellness will also support the Sports Science Lab, which will help provide students with the opportunity to utilize some of the most advanced tools and technologies associated with enhancing sport performance and preventing injury."
