"We are excited about the upcoming season and the continued growth of our program! Our team has worked tirelessly to elevate Bearcat Women’s Basketball. Before our staff arrived, the program finished with a 27-83 record over a four-year span. We’ve turned that around with a 70-50 overall record the last four seasons, and we’re proud of the strides we’ve made. But we know there’s still more to accomplish — our goal is to take the next step and build a championship-level program that represents the pride and passion of Northwest Missouri State.
Not only are we competing at a higher level on the floor, but we are also incredibly proud of our student-athletes’ success in the classroom. Our returning players earned an impressive 3.91 team GPA this past spring, a reflection of their dedication, discipline, and hard work in all areas of life.
While we’ve made tremendous progress, we have lots of room for continued growth. Your support during Bleed Green Athletic Day of Giving makes a huge difference it comes to providing the best in essentials like uniforms, gear, travel, and player resources.
