Northwest Missouri State athletics is built on tradition, hard work, and the pursuit of excellence both on and off the field. The Bearcat culture is a standard of accountability to teammates and coaches, and a family-like atmosphere where every program supports one another. Most importantly, success is measured not only in championships and accolades, but also in the growth of young men and women into leaders who embody the Bearcat Way. The pride extends well past the campus, uniting alumni, fans and the community that “Bleed Green”.

Our baseball program is inviting all to come out and support the team this fall and spring season. We have several events throughout the fall, including a reunion with the 1975 World Series team as they will be recognized during a home football game on October 25th. The 1981 graduate, Bob Gonsoulin is getting inducted into the M-Club Hall of Fame the same weekend. In addition to our alumni outreach, the connection with the community has been a priority for us. Over the past year, we have offered the youth an opportunity to learn the game and be a part of our game day experience while being inspired by positive role models. The hands-on experience not only builds baseball skills but also fosters lasting connections that motivate the next generation of players.

To continue providing our student-athletes with the resources they need to compete at the highest level, we rely on the support of our loyal alumni, fans, and community. Your generosity helps us address critical program needs such as facility upgrades, equipment enhancements, and travel opportunities. Our program is seeking help for new tarps that cover our bullpens and home plate area. We have yearly needs to allow us to stay ahead with tech support including cameras, data and analytic devices, and game day electronics that are replaced often. As the most northern team in our league, we begin our season with 3-4 consecutive road trips that makes up 25% of our schedule. To stay within budget, we have scheduled trips that require us to come back and forth, and our coaches drive vans to be cost effective. We would like our players to experience a week trip to play several games and practice in warm weather.

Every contribution directly impacts the growth and success of our student-athletes, ensuring they have the tools to develop as leaders and competitors. By supporting Bearcat Baseball, you are investing in a legacy of pride, teamwork, and achievement that extends far beyond the diamond.
